Edwardian Ball

This show was at the Fillmore auditorium in 1966.  Unlike many of the other Fillmore posters this show was put on by Students of San Francisco State University rather than Bill Graham presents. In the 1960's the thrift stores of San Francisco were full of Victorian era clothing. Top Hats and lace became the uniform of the hippies. This event reflected the Victorian trend of the time.  In 1967 a group of my Artist friends started a printing company called Berkeley Bonaparte and reprinted all of their favorite posters, Edwardian Ball was one of these. The Berkeley Bonaparte posters were printed by Artists and the quality was impeccable.
